ISDP Director Presents to EU Parliment

Brussels -- On Wednesday 11 June 2008 The Society's ISDP Director, Mr. Michael Youash presented at a conference at the European Parliament in Brussels on the situation of the Assyrians in Iraq. The event was organized by the Assyria Council of Europe in cooperation with the European Peoples Party-European Democrats, the biggest bloc in the European Parliament, and touched on crucial issues and questions regarding the plight and future survival of Iraq's indigenous people.

 Immigration Panel held in Michigan

Assyrian Studies - Pre-WWIThe Assyrian Academic Society along with the Chaldean American Chamber of Commerce, and the Chaldean Federation of America hosted a public panle presentation on current Immigration oppurtunities in Southfield Michigan. Immigration Attorneys and refugee resettlement experts included:

  • Mr. Robert Dekelaita, Law Office of Robert Dekelaita
  • Mr. N. Peter Antone, Antone, Casagrande & Aswers, P.C.
